Heat 2 tsp oil and add 1 tbsp each chana daal and urad daal. Sauté for 2 mins and add 2 small onions, 6/7 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger and cook for 3-4 mins. Add 5-6 red chillies and cook for a min.  2. Add 1 small tomato and cook until it softens. Cool and transfer to a jar along with the peanuts. Add salt and tamarind. Blend smooth with water.  3. Finish with tadka of mustard seeds, urad daal, chillies and curry leaves.   Serve with idli or dosa and enjoy 🤩.
