Abandoned objects

I have spent almost the last decade traveling around Europe photographing some of its most interesting and visually impressive abandoned locations. From rusting industrial remnants in Belgium, abandoned farmhouses in Iceland to crumbling villas and hospitals in northern Italy, they have all stunned me at the sheer beauty of these places left to rot.

The past and present are interesting things. We can learn from the past, but we can't change it. If we try to live in the past, we won't be able to move forward with our lives, because the past begins to fade, or decay. This concept of decay works
