Now, let’s talk more about avocado dye:

🥑 I started this pot of dye with 9 avocado stones/pits that I’d been storing in a jar in the fridge.

🥑 In the dye pot, the colour starts off as a dull beige and gradually oxidises to a brighter pink. The key with avocado dye is to be patient and keep reheating the dye and leaving it to oxidise. This dye took about 36 hours to turn pink.
