& finish! I’ve used this combo on several
projects from wood art, furniture, to floating
shelves. And I promise you this sealer is
hands down THE best. I’m talking smooth
as butter.

Here is the process:
1. Wood conditioner - wipe on, wipe off
2. Minwax Simply White - wipe on, wipe off
3. Minwax Early American - wipe on, wipe
off
*you can do more coats of either if you want
to customize the look and make lighter or
darker*
5. 5-6 coats Total Boat Halcyon Varnish in
Satin (coats can vary depending on use
indoor/outdoor/covered etc) I did 6 coasts
to be safe because our patio is not covered
and I do not cover the table.

I stained and sealed the base of the table Minwax Simply White Stain, Minwax Early American, Early American Stain, Wood Conditioner, Minwax Stain, Simply White, Outdoor Cover, White Stain, I Promise You

We have used these exact materials time & time again, for multiple projects, to achieve the White Oak look I love! My go-to stain combo that works every time- One thing I do before even getting started on staining: sand the wood I’m working on. Sanding is a key step you do not want to miss, as it helps remove the yellow layer that is in a lot of woods. I start with 120/150 grit and then move to 220 so it gets nice & smooth! Once sanded, I apply Minwax Pre-Stain & wipe away any excess. This helps so the stain goes on evenly. After the allotted dry time, you need to lightly sand with 220 and then apply your 1st stain (Simply White) within an Layered Stain On Wood, Best Stain Combo For Pine, Light Stain For Pine Wood, Minwax Stains On Pine, Stain Pine To Look Like Oak, Minwax White Oak Stain, White Oak Look On Pine, Pine Stained To Look Like White Oak, Diy White Oak Stain
