Kuching (Chinese: 古晋) (pronounced /ˈkuːtʃɪŋ/ (deprecatit template), 'KOO'-ching), offeecially the Ceety o Kuching, is the caipital an maist populous ceety of the East Malaysian state o Sarawak. It is the lairgest ceety on the island o Borneo, an the fowert lairgest ceety in Malaysie.

Kuching is ane o the twa subsets o the Kuching Proper subdestrict, the ither subset being pairt o the Padawan municipality. Kuching Proper is ane o the three subdestricts in the Kuching Destrict, which is ane o the three destricts in the Kuching Diveesion.
