Cusihuiriachi is a toun in the Mexican state o Chihuahua. Awtho it is nou practically a ghost toun, it serves as the municipal seat for the surroondin municipality o the same name. "Cusihuiriachi" is a Tarahumara wird meanin "erect pole".[1]
Cusihuiriachi's population haes fawen dramatically ower the past century, frae 1,755 in 1900 tae 75 in 2005. Bi the 2010 census, it wis doun tae 63.[2] This wis lairgely due tae the closur o the local siller mines.
