Areguá is a ceety in Paraguay; anerlie 28 km awa frae the kintra's caipital o Asunción. It is the caipital o the depairtment o Central. Probably the best faitur o this Paraguayan toun is its geographical location; it lays atween a group o rollin hills wi a distinctive rock formation (foond anerlie in 3 places in the warld) an a bonnie blue loch, Ypacaraí loch.[1]

The topografie o the surroondins gies this toun a unique natural chairm, and it has colonial airchitectur, lairgely preservit, alang wi its oreeginal cobble stane streets.
