The Namyangju Organic Museum, the warld's first museum dedicated tae the history and development of organic agriculture, opened in September 2011. It is locatit wast of Seoul and on the shores o the River Han. The museum caters for young and auld, it includes a timeline of organic farming developments, an thare are exhibits of traditional Korean farming practices tied tae the 24 seasonal divisions o the year. The museum's openin coincided wi Namyangju hosting the 17t IFOAM Organic Warld Congress.[2]
