Rewinding back to the summer, one of the classes that impressed me at the Brands Hatch Superprix (also at the Donington Historic) was the Martini Trophy, for 2-litre sports-racing cars of the 70’s. Despite their small displacement engines, these little prototypes were both very quick and very noisy. This Scuderia Filipinetti T290 was one of the most interesting in it’s super-seventies Gitanes sponsorship.
