The creative team at Scandinavian-based studio Shirāz & Dāryān shot these gorgeous images of Iran, historically known as Persia in the Western world.

Airducts on the roofs of houses in Yazd give a unique appearance to the city. Airducts (or badgir ) are masterpieces of Persian architecture and design. Yazd, the largest brick town in the world, with an old but lively fabric, is called the City of Airducts. It’s a nice experience to walk on its roofed alleys in the heart of summer!
