My colleague @amandathomas_creative taught me this neat way to make a triple knot, and I've never looked back!! To bury the knot, you need to wiggle your needle about in the hole to stretch it slightly.   I'm using DMC perlè cotton (size 8) and one of my favourite needles for hand-quilting, a prym long cotton darner!!! I've tried so many needles and I keep coming back to these! They are very sharp and long! Whatever you're comfortable with though. Yes, I don't use a thimble! Sorry, I know that's going to worry some of you!!! 😆  As for the quilting, I stitch mostly next to seams, about ⅛" away, but anything goes here. No rules!!!
