In case you didn’t know, approximately 6.5 million pets enter U.S. animal shelters each year according to the research done by ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). By adopting a cat, versus purchasing one from a retail store or a breeder, you allow for an additional opening at an animal shelter for another pet to be adopted, thus saving 2 lives.
