How to Fix Black Myth: Wukong Crash On PC – Shader Compilation Crash Fix

Black Myth: Wukong is an incredible action RPG and runs on Unreal Engine 5. The game saw incredible success on PC and PlayStation. How Do I Fix Black Myth: Wukong Crash On PC?

PC users are experiencing in-game crashes when playing Black Myth: Wukong. They report that the game crashes randomly or during shader compilation. There are multiple reasons for Black Myth: Wukong’s in-game crash issue, like an outdated GPU driver, small shader cache, Intel 13 and 14 gen CPUs, and more. The following fixes will help you resolve the in-game crashes.

Fix #1: Run Black Myth: Wukong in Compatibility Mode

You can enable Black Myth: Wukong’s compatibility mode to disable certain features. This allows shaders to compile without the game crashing. Follow the steps below to run the game in compatibility mode and fix the shader compilation crash:

  • Go to your Steam library > select Black Myth: Wukong > click on the “Play” button.
  • A pop-up will appear asking you to select a launch option.
