AUSLAN is the official sign language used in Australia. This resource offers; a dictionary, videos of people using sign language and links to AUSLAN classes. I especially valued the in videos provided and the simplicity to follow video directions to help start sign language and allow communication to someone who is hearing impaired.

Please note: This Australian sign language alphabet is actually very different to and should not be confused with ASL or the American Sign Language alphabet.

M., who I met on the facebook, in connection with MEC, advised me to have a look at the MAKATON signs that she uses with her daughter to connect the two languages. No matter which language you use, use the same sign for the same thing, so the child can learn to connect the meaning. You can make up your own signs as well, or do a signing course in Hungarian.
