About me

Hello! I am a certified Spanish teacher with over 26 years of experience teaching Spanish. I live in Spain and teaching my language is one of my great passions. I have helped students from all over the world improve their Spanish grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking.

My level of English is equivalent to C1, which allows me to communicate seamlessly with English-speaking students who want to learn Spanish. I have also participated in cultural exchanges and continue to do so, which enriches my classes with authentic experiences and practical content.

Outside of the classroom, I love music, reading, traveling, and enjoying good times with my husband and friends.

This is a teacher who will engage the student's intellect, and imagination. She makes a lesson a conversation, an occasion to anticipate with pleasure. Mistakes are an opportunity to expand vocabulary not to discourage the student. Mari Fe provides a 'classroom' in which bravery with the language is encouraged but not forced, and fluency is encouraged not interrupted, errors being corrected after the student's thoughts have been expressed.
