The buyer of our newly refurbished Bungalow required a walk-in bath to replace the existing one newly installed. After trawling the web, we looked at various companies specialising in this sphere and eventually chose Practical Bathrooms. Their sales office was located in Windsor, and I made contact with Paul. Explaining our requirements of fitting the Cirrus Reverso bath in a restricted space Paul was very helpful. Delivery was 4-5 weeks which would give us a slight problem, but Paul went out of his way to negotiate a 2 week delivery. He also arranged for payment to made direct with the buyer, as she had disabled status and saved on the VAT. Expected delivery was emailed to us and the bath arrived on the specified date, securely packed and with no damage. Quality of the product was better than expected, it easily fitted in the recess provided, and the internal door mechanism worked well, and no leakages. The Bath arrived within the time scale given and in perfect condition.
Construction is extremely rigid with lots of steel work though it is an easy lift for two people. The box it arrived in made an excellent play house for a friend’s young children.
I am six foot and my wife is a lot shorter. The seat is rather low for me but a trick to get out of the bath is to open the door and step out with one leg before following through with the rest. This, for me, is a lot easier than trying, with my bad knees, to rise up from a near squat.
Would I recommend Practical bathing to my friends? Yes, without question.
