Answering an old "Help Wanted" sign place in the store window, Grace enters with a box of donated books and volunteers to help until things turn around. Now with more free time to spend with her daughter, divorced Sarah attends a birthday party with her and runs into recently-widowed Steve and the two make a connection. They decide to go on a date, and they have a great time until Sarah learns that Steve's company is the new owner of Sarah's building. She's so upset that she asks him to leave. Grace convinces her to give him, and love, another chance, so she visits him; before she gets there, Jeremiah visits Steve to tell him that his wife is safe in Heaven and it's OK for him to move on with Sarah.
