Even though it looks like she has it all in life, not everything is what it seems to be. Layla battles her decisions and her inner voices (daimonion) that challenge her to face her true reality and to destroy her false illusion. Her partner Julian lives a secret life, one which Layla has tried to ignore but to confront her own identity, she must ultimately confront him.
