For an assignment to emulate a famous photographer, I chose Cindy Sherman. Her work with her series "Untitled Film Stills," where she places herself in fake movies to depict stereotypical roles of women, and her uncanny ability to disguise herself in self-portraits with makeup and costumes inspired me. My take on her ideas was to photograph myself as different strong female characters in movies, and I also emulated a few of her photos.
