Abstract
A panty-type sanitary pad (1) comprises: an absorbent body (10) including an absorbent core (11); a belly-side trunk portion (20); and a back-side trunk portion (30) which is a separate member from the belly-side trunk portion (20). When a menstrual blood dropping test of dropping artificial menstrual blood onto a central part in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction of the absorbent core (11) in a developed and extended state is conducted, the thickness of the central part of the panty-type sanitary pad (1) after the test is smaller than the thickness of the central part of the panty-type sanitary pad (1) before the test.
