- FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining another example of DL HARQ timing applicable in the present embodiment in TDD-FDD CA.
- FDD and TDD are defined as Duplex modes (see FIG. 1A above).
- Rel. 10 is supported by intra-base station CA (Intra-eNB CA).
- Intra-eNB CA intra-base station CA
- Rel. The CA in 10/11 was limited to the same Duplex-mode (FDD + FDD Intra-eNB CA or TDD + TDD Intra-eNB CA) (see FIG. 1B above).
- intra-base station CA Intra-eNB CA
- TDD + FDD duplex-mode
- Inter-eNB CA inter-base station CA
- the inter-base station CA is preferably supported not limited to the duplex-mode, and an inter-base station CA including a different duplex-mode (TDD + FDD) may be introduced.
- the intra-base station CA controls scheduling using a single scheduler among a plurality of cells (see FIG. 2B). That is, the user terminal only needs to feed back an uplink control signal (UCI) such as an acknowledgment signal (ACK / NACK (hereinafter also referred to as “A / N”)) only to a specific cell (PCell).
- UCI uplink control signal
- ACK / NACK acknowledgment signal
- PCell specific cell
- Inter-eNB CA inter-base station CA
- a scheduler is provided independently for each of a plurality of cells, and scheduling is controlled in each cell.
- the connection between the base stations is a connection in which the delay cannot be ignored (non-ideal backhaul connection). Therefore, the user terminal needs to feed back an uplink control signal (UCI) to each cell (see FIG. 2C).
- UCI uplink control signal
- each cell may apply the conventional feedback mechanism as it is.
- FIG. 3A shows a case where a user terminal feeds back an A / N for a PDSCH signal at a conventional timing in a cell to which FDD is applied (hereinafter also referred to as “FDD cell”).
- FDD cell a cell to which FDD is applied
- the user terminal feeds back A / N in a UL subframe after a predetermined (for example, 4 ms) from the DL subframe to which the PDSCH signal is allocated.
- FIG. 3B shows a case where a user terminal feeds back A / N for a PDSCH signal at a conventional timing in a cell to which TDD is applied (hereinafter also referred to as “TDD cell”).
- TDD cell a cell to which TDD is applied
- the user terminal feeds back A / N in the UL subframe assigned in advance to the DL subframe assigned the PDSCH signal.
- the UL / DL configuration ratio is determined in multiple patterns (DL / UL Configuration 0-6), and the DL subframes assigned to the UL subframes are determined in each DL / UL configuration .
- FIG. 3B shows a case of DL / UL configuration 2 (DL / UL Config. 2), and each DL subframe is assigned (associated) with a predetermined UL subframe.
- the number assigned to each DL subframe indicates the number of subframes from the corresponding UL subframe.
- a / N feedback timing (DL HARQ timing) is the same when CA is applied.
- a / N transmission using PUCCH is performed only in a specific cell (PCell) even when CA is applied in UL.
- PUCCH formats are defined as PUCCH transmissions of uplink control signals such as delivery confirmation signals (A / N signals) and channel quality information (CQI).
- a / N signals delivery confirmation signals
- CQI channel quality information
- a / N fed back from each user terminal in one subframe is 1 to 2 bits.
- the user terminal transmits 1 or 2 bits of A / N using BPSK or QPSK (by BPSK or QPSK modulation) by applying the PUCCH format 1a / 1b.
- a / N is used by using a scheduling location (PDCCH / EPDCCH resource number (CCE / ECCE number)) of downlink control information (DL DCI) and a parameter (RRC parameter) notified by RRC signaling. Is determined (see FIG. 4).
- a maximum of 36 A / Ns can be encoded and multiplexed per RB.
- a / N fed back from each user terminal in one subframe requires a maximum of 4 bits.
- the user terminal applies channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b (PUCCH format 1b with channel selection) and transmits A / N with a maximum of 4 bits.
- PUCCH resource candidates are determined from the scheduling location (CCE / ECCE number) of the DLell DCI of the PCell and the RRC parameter.
- another PUCCH resource candidate is determined from the TPC command region (also referred to as ARI) included in the SCell's DL DCI and the RRC parameter (see FIG. 5A).
- ARI is Rel. 10 is an ACK / NACK resource identifier (A / N Resource Indicator), which is used to specify a PCell PUCCH resource to be used for A / N feedback of PDSCH transmitted by SCell when CA is applied. Specifically, a plurality of PUCCH resource candidates are notified to the user terminal in advance by an upper layer such as RRC, and one of them is designated by ARI.
- a / NACK resource identifier A / N Resource Indicator
- a maximum of 4 bits of A / N is expressed using a plurality of PUCCH resource candidates and QPSK symbols.
- the user terminal selects and feeds back a predetermined PUCCH resource / QPSK symbol point according to the contents of A / N of each cell.
- PUCCH resource candidates are set in channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b.
- the PUCCH resource when channel selection is not performed (PUCCH format 1b) and the PUCCH resource next to the PUCCH resource are set as PUCCH resource candidates 1 and 2, respectively.
- PUCCH resource candidate 2 can be calculated by adding +1 to CCE / ECCE used for calculation of PUCCH resource candidate 1.
- PUCCH resources that are dynamically specified by the TPC command (ARI) included in the DCI of the SCell from the four resource candidate sets set in advance by RRC signaling are set as PUCCH resource candidates 3 and 4 (see FIG. 5B).
- a PUCCH resource candidate is determined from the TPC command (ARI) included in the SCell's DL DCI and the RRC parameter (see FIG. 6A).
- the user terminal applies the PUCCH resource dynamically specified by the TPC command (ARI) included in the DCI of the SCell from the four PUCCH resource candidates set in advance by RRC signaling (see FIG. 6B). .
- the user terminal uses the PUCCH format 1b (falls back to the PUCCH format 1b) when the DL DCI of the SCell is not detected even when the PUCCH format 3 is set (configured).
- the PUCCH resource in this case is determined by the method shown in FIG.
- a / N bundling can be performed in which A / Ns of a plurality of DL subframes are collectively regarded as one A / N. In this case, feedback can be performed using the PUCCH format 1a / 1b.
- channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b and PUCCH format 3 can be set. When CA is applied, channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b and PUCCH format 3 are applied.
- UL subframes used for feedback may be limited when A / N feedback or the like is performed using only PUCCH of PCell in TDD-FDD CA.
- the TDD cell is a PCell and the FDD cell is an SCell, there is a possibility that UL transmission such as a delivery confirmation signal cannot be appropriately performed.
- FIG. 7A shows a feedback method in which the DL HARQ timing of the SCell (FDD cell) is matched to the timing of the FDD cell (FIG. 3A) when the TDD cell is the PCell and the FDD cell is the SCell.
- FDD cell the DL HARQ timing of the SCell
- FIG. 3A the timing of the FDD cell
- FIG. 7B shows a feedback method in which the DL HARQ timing of the SCell (FDD cell) matches the timing of the TDD cell (FIG. 3B) when the TDD cell is the PCell and the FDD cell is the SCell.
- the number of SCell DL subframes to which an A / N feedback UL subframe can be allocated in the PCell (TDD cell) UL subframe is increased as compared to FIG. 7A.
- the feedback timing for example, 4 ms
- the feedback timing for example, 4 ms
- the UL subframe resource of the SCell (FDD cell) is free, it cannot be used for the PUCCH.
- the present inventors support UL transmission (PUCCH transmission) using PUCCH in the SCell UL when applying TDD-FDD CA (particularly when the TDD cell is a PCell and the FDD cell is an SCell). By doing this, it discovered that UL sub-frame can be appropriately allocated with respect to each DL sub-frame of PCell and SCell.
- the Intra-eNB CA when the UL subframe is set only in one of the FDD cells regardless of whether the FDD cell or the TDD cell is a PCell, the UL subframe of the FDD cell is set. Feedback of a delivery confirmation signal or the like (PUCCH transmission) is performed using a frame.
- PUCCH transmission a delivery confirmation signal or the like
- delivery is performed using either or both of the UL subframes of the TDD cell and the FDD cell. The idea was to feedback the confirmation signal (see FIG. 8).
- PUCCH transmission related to A / N is performed using the UL subframe of the FDD cell in the subframe other than the subframe in which the UL is set in both the FDD cell and the TDD cell. More specifically, in the DL subframe of the FDD cell, the A / N for the DL subframe other than the DL subframe four subframes before the UL subframe of the TDD cell is used for the UL subframe of the FDD cell. Feedback. Thereby, regardless of which of the FDD cell and the TDD cell is the PCell, the resource of the UL subframe of the FDD is effectively utilized. Further, in a subframe in which UL is set in both the FDD cell and the TDD cell, feedback of A / N is controlled using either one or both of the TDD cell and the FDD cell.
- the present inventors have come up with the idea that it is desirable to apply the A / N feedback mechanism as follows when considering the introduction of Intra-eNB CA and Inter-eNB CA.
- Intra-eNB CA when there is DL allocation in both CCs, feedback of ACK / NACK is performed from either or both CCs. Note that which feedback method the user terminal applies depends on the capability of the user terminal (UE capability), the combination of frequency bands applied in each CC (Band combination), and the like.
- the HARQ timing is shared between the Intra-eNB CA and the Inter-eNB CA.
- the existing HARQ timing that does not apply CA can be used.
- Embodiment 1 In Embodiment 1, an A / N feedback method (determination of a cell for performing PUCCH transmission and PUCCH resource) applied by a user terminal in TDD-FDD CA will be described.
- Intra-eNB CA when only A / N feedback of one cell is performed, PUCCH transmission is performed in the same cell as in the case of CA non-application (Non-CA).
- the PCell PUCCH is applied in a subframe in which only PCell A / N feedback is performed.
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource number (CCE number / ECCE number) transmitted in the PCell, similarly to CA non-application (Non-CA) in the existing system.
- the PUCCH format applied by the user terminal can be a PUCCH format used when CA is not applied.
- SCell's PUCCH is applied.
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource number (CCE number / ECCE number) transmitted in the SCell, similarly to CA non-application (Non-CA) in the existing system.
- the PUCCH format applied by the user terminal can be a PUCCH format used when CA is not applied.
- FIG. 9A shows a case where the FDD cell is a PCell
- FIG. 9B shows a case where the TDD cell is a PCell.
- FIG. 9 shows only allocation of DL subframes to subframes in which UL is set in both the FDD cell and the TDD cell in the FDD cell, but other DL subframes are also shown in FIG.
- a UL subframe corresponding to the DL subframe is allocated. The same applies to FIGS. 10, 12, and 17 below.
- the user terminal when multiplexing the A / N of each cell to one of the FDD cell and the TDD cell, applies channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b or PUCCH format 3 (reuse of existing CA). Also, PUCCH resource candidates in channel selection and PUCCH resources used in PUCCH format 3 can be determined using SCell's DL DCI information (TPC command region) as an ARI.
- the base station when A / N transmission is performed from both the FDD cell and the TDD cell, the A / N may be aggregated and fed back to the PUCCH of the SCell instead of the PCell. For this reason, the base station appropriately sets PCell PUCCH resource candidates and / or SCell PUCCH resource candidates in the user terminal using RRC signaling. Further, when the PCell PUCCH resource candidate and the SCell PUCCH resource candidate are set by RRC signaling, the base station can instruct the user terminal to perform CC for PUCCH transmission using ARI. This enables dynamic PUCCH offloading.
- Inter-eNB CA A / N feedback is performed using the UL subframe of each cell regardless of the case where there is A / N transmission from one or both of the FDD cell and the TDD cell.
- SCell's PUCCH is applied.
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource number (CCE number / ECCE number) transmitted in the SCell, similarly to CA non-application (Non-CA) in the existing system.
- the A / N of each cell is independently transmitted using each PUCCH (see FIG. 10).
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource to be used in each cell from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource number transmitted in each cell, similarly to the existing CA non-application (Non-CA).
- each base station of each cell can be transmitted by independently transmitting the A / N of each cell using each PUCCH. It is possible to perform DL HARQ appropriately even in a non-ideal backhaul connection.
- the TPC command area of the SCell is used as an ARI to select a PUCCH resource to be used in channel selection or PUCCH format 3.
- the TCell command area of the SCell is used for transmission power control of the PUCCH. That is, the role (power control or ARI) of the SCell's TPC command for the user terminal changes depending on whether only the SCell is assigned or if both the PCell and SCell are assigned.
- the user terminal When the user terminal correctly detects the allocation of PCell and SCell, the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource using the ARI. However, when the user terminal cannot detect the DCell of the PCell (detection error), the user terminal determines that only the SCell is allocated and performs A / N feedback only on the SCell. In such a case, the user terminal applies the SCell TPC command as a TPC command, not as an ARI which is the original role (see FIG. 11). Thereby, the transmission power of PUCCH of SCell will change with the bit information which functions as ARI.
- the FDD cell is a PCell
- the FDD cell it is assumed that there is a DL assignment (A / N transmission) from both the TDD cell and the FDD cell in a subframe that is UL in both the TDD cell and the FDD cell.
- the user terminal misses detection of DL DCI (PDCCH signal) in the FDD DL subframe four subframes before the subframe, it determines that there is only DL allocation to the TDD cell and performs PUCCH transmission on the SCell ( (See FIG. 12A).
- the network designates the PUCCH resource for the user terminal using the TPC command in the DCI of the TDD cell (SCell) as the ARI.
- a user terminal determines a PUCCH resource from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource of SCell. Therefore, the ARI instructed by the TDD DCI is reflected as a TPC command for the user terminal. Note that there is no particular problem when the DCI of a TDD cell that is an SCell is missed.
- TDD is PCell
- DL allocation A / N transmission
- PUCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel
- the network designates the PUCCH resource for the user terminal using the TPC command in the DCI of the FDD cell (SCell) as the ARI.
- a user terminal determines a PUCCH resource from the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource of SCell. Therefore, the ARI instructed by the FDD DCI is reflected as a TPC command for the user terminal.
- DCI of the FDD cell that is the SCell is detected incorrectly, no particular problem occurs.
- the present inventors have conceived that the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell is not used as the ARI (Aspect 1). In such a case, when performing A / N feedback for DL allocation of both PCell and SCell, PUCCH resources are determined by a method different from the conventional method. In addition, the present inventors have conceived of limiting the application of the TPC command when only the SCell's DL DCI is detected while using the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell as the ARI (Aspect 2).
- a user terminal determines a PUCCH resource using a PDCCH / EPDCCH resource or a signal configuration (Config) including SCell and / or PCell DL DCI instead of ARI.
- the user terminal restricts the use of the SCell TPC command.
- the TPC command function (use as TPC command or ARI) between NW (base station) and user terminal ) Can be suppressed, and judgment can be unified.
- Mode 1 and Mode 2 will be described in detail.
- Method 1 the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell is not used as an ARI, and the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource including the DL DCI of the SCell is used as a virtual ARI (Virtual ARI).
- a plurality of PUCCH resource candidates are determined based on PDCCH / EPDCCH resources (CCE / ECCE) of PCell and SCell without using ARI. Specifically, the PUCCH resource used when A / N feedback is performed only for the PCell and the PUCCH resource used when A / N feedback is performed only for the SCell are set as PUCCH resource candidates (see FIG. 13).
- PUCCH resource candidates can be determined based on one or both of the two PUCCH resources. For example, a PUCCH resource obtained by adding a predetermined number (for example, +1, ⁇ 1) to one or both of the two PUCCH resources is used.
- a predetermined number for example, +1, ⁇ 1
- the base station can receive A / N in all cases regardless of the presence or absence of a DL DCI detection error by the user terminal by confirming the PUCCH resource to be allocated in the case of only PCell or SCell. Therefore, the detection load of the PUCCH resource by the base station can be reduced.
- a specific PUCCH resource is determined based on information regarding the signal configuration of the SCell's PDCCH / EPDCCH without using an ARI, from among a plurality of PUCCH resource candidates notified by RRC signaling ( (See FIG. 14).
- Examples of information related to the PDCCH / EPDCCH signal configuration include the CCE / ECCE number of the PDCCH / EPDCCH including the SCell downlink control information (DL DCI), the aggregation level, the search space, and the channel set number. It is done. Assume that the relationship between these pieces of information and a specific PUCCH resource is determined in advance by an upper layer. It may be notified by RRC.
- the user terminal determines a specific PUCCH resource in consideration of whether the CCE / ECCE number of the PDCCH / EPDCCH including the SCell's DL DCI is an even number or an odd number, or larger or smaller than a predetermined value.
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource in consideration of whether the PDCCH / EPDCCH search space including the DL DCI of the SCell is a common search space (Common-SS) or a user-specific search space (UE-SS). .
- Common-SS Common search space
- UE-SS user-specific search space
- the user terminal determines the PUCCH resource based on the PDCCH / EPDCCH channel set number (for example, PDCCH, EPDCCH set1, or EPDCCH set2) including the DL DCI of the SCell.
- the channel set number corresponds to a channel to which the user terminal assigns DL DCI.
- EPDCCH is assigned to each user terminal, an EPDCCH set number including a plurality of EPDCCHs is assigned.
- the user terminal can determine the PUCCH resource by appropriately combining the CCE / ECCE number of PDCCH / EPDCCH, the aggregation level, the search space, and the channel set number.
- the base station can dynamically schedule PUCCH format 3 resources without using ARI. Further, when the relationship between the SCell's PDCCH / EPDCCH signal configuration and PUCCH resources is notified in advance by RRC, in addition to dynamic scheduling, the nature of uplink traffic (degree of congestion) and each partial frequency in the uplink band The PUCCH resource can be allocated more flexibly according to the interference level of the other.
- the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell is not used as the ARI, and the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource including the DL DCI of the PCell is used as the virtual ARI.
- the method 2 will be described below.
- a PDCCH / EPDCCH configuration of PDCCH / EPDCCH configuration without using ARI among a plurality of PUCCH resource candidates notified by RRC signaling (PDCCH / EPDCCH Config) )
- PUCCH resource or PUCCH resource candidate
- PDCCH / EPDCCH As information regarding the signal configuration of PDCCH / EPDCCH, there are CCE / ECCE number, aggregation level, search space, channel set number, etc. of PDCCH / EPDCCH including downlink control information (DL DCI) of PCell.
- DL DCI downlink control information
- the user terminal can also determine the PUCCH resource by appropriately combining the CCE / ECCE number of PDCCH / EPDCCH, the aggregation level, the search space, and the channel set number. It is assumed that the relationship between these pieces of information and PUCCH resources is determined in advance by an upper layer. It may be notified by RRC.
- the base station can dynamically schedule PUCCH resources without using ARI.
- the relationship between the PDCCH / EPDCCH signal configuration of the PCell and the PUCCH resource is notified in advance by RRC, in addition to dynamic scheduling, the nature of uplink traffic (degree of congestion) and the interference for each partial frequency in the uplink band PUCCH resources can be allocated more flexibly according to the level and the like.
- the method 1 and the method 2 may be combined, and the PUCCH resource may be determined using both the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource including the DL DCI of the PCell and the SCell and the signal configuration (Config). For example, whether the CCE / ECCE number of the PDCCH / EPDCCH in which the DL DCI of the PCell is included is larger or smaller than the predetermined value and the CCE / ECCE number of the PDCCH / EPDCCH in which the DL DCI of the SCell is included is an even number A method of determining a specific PUCCH resource depending on whether it is an odd number or not can be considered.
- a PUCCH resource set is selected by the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource and signal configuration (Config) including the PCell DL DCI, and the PDCCH / EPDCCH resource and signal configuration (Config) including the SCell DL DCI are selected.
- This corresponds to selecting one PUCCH resource from the PUCCH resource set.
- the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell is not used as the ARI, and the PUCCH resource candidate is notified to the user terminal in advance.
- the base station notifies the user terminal of PUCCH resources necessary for channel selection based on the PUCCH format 1b and PUCCH format 3 by higher layer signaling (for example, RRC signaling).
- the user terminal uses the PUCCH resource notified semi-statically from the upper layer instead of the downlink control signal (DCI) (see FIG. 16).
- DCI downlink control signal
- the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell may be used as the TPC command of the PUCCH in the SCell regardless of the presence or absence of DL allocation in both the PCell and the SCell.
- the user terminal performs PUCCH transmission in the SCell by applying a TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell.
- Method 1 the user terminal in which the PUCCH of the SCell is configured applies the TPC command included in the UL grant of the SCell.
- the TPC command for controlling the PUCCH is included in the DCI DL assignment, and the TPC command included in the UL grant is used for PUSCH transmission power control. Therefore, in Method 1, transmission power control is performed on PUSCH and PUCCH, which have been conventionally performed with transmission power control using separate TPC commands, using the same TPC command.
- the TPC command for DL assignment (DL assignment) included in the DL DCI of the SCell is ARI. Therefore, in Method 1, CL-TPC of SCell PUCCH is performed using a TPC command included in the UL grant. In this case, the SCell can perform CL-TPC on the PUSCH and the PUCCH simultaneously.
- the PUCCH resource is determined by regarding the SPC TPC command as an ARI.
- the TPC command is ignored, and the PUCCH resource is determined from the SCell's PDCCH / EPDCCH resource, signal configuration, and the like.
- the user terminal changes the transmission power of the SCell PUCCH according to the TPC command of the UL grant.
- the PUCCH in the SCell is mainly transmitted toward RRH (Remote Radio Head) depicted in FIGS. 1B and 1C.
- RRH Remote Radio Head
- the user terminal in which the SCell PUCCH is set performs CL-TPC of the SCell PUCCH using the TPC command included in the DCI format 3 / 3A of the PCell.
- DCI format 3 / 3A is a control information format for a TPC command set in a common search space. Normally, when a user terminal detects a UL grant or DL assignment, the user terminal performs transmission power control using a TPC command included in the UL grant or DL assignment. On the other hand, even if the user terminal detects UL grant or DL assignment and DCI format 3 / 3A in the same subframe, it ignores the TPC command included in DCI format 3 / 3A. Therefore, since UL grants and DL assignments are continuously transmitted to user terminals that communicate a large amount of data, the TPC command in the DCI format 3 / 3A is often not applied. Therefore, in the method 2, when only the DL DCI of the SCell is detected, the DCI format 3 / 3A is preferentially applied.
- the TPC command for DL assignment (DL assignment) included in the DL DCI of the SCell is ARI. Therefore, the user terminal in which the SCell's PUCCH is set preferentially applies the TPC command included in the DCell format 3 / 3A of the PCell, and performs CL-TPC of the SCell PUCCH. Therefore, the base station configures the user terminal to use DCI format 3 / 3A and the priority of the TPC command by an upper layer such as RRC and configures the TPC command to be applied to the SCell PUCCH in DCI format 3 / 3A. Just send it. In this case, the user terminal can receive the DCI format 3 / 3A and appropriately perform transmission power control even though the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell is used as the ARI.
- the PUCCH resource is determined by regarding the SPC TPC command as an ARI.
- the TPC command is ignored, and the PUCCH resource is determined from the SCell's PDCCH / EPDCCH resource, signal configuration, and the like.
- the user terminal changes the transmission power of the SCell PUCCH according to the TPC command.
- the TPC command is transmitted by DCI format 3 / 3A so that the transmission power control of the SCell's PUCCH is properly performed. Can be done.
- the user terminal in which the PUCCH of the SCell is set provides a period (subframe) in which the bit of the TPC command included in the UL grant of the SCell is not used for CL-TPC.
- the TDD cell is PCell
- the FDD cell is SCell
- only DL DCI of SCell is detected.
- the user terminal determines that the TPC command included in the DL DCI of the SCell (FDD cell) is CL ⁇ . Not used for TPC.
- the TPC command is used for CL-TPC of SCell's PUCCH (see FIG. 17).
- the TPC command included in DL DCI of SCell is used as ARI.
- the limitation of the TPC command is minimized. can do. Moreover, it can suppress that a difference arises in the assumption electric power between NW and a user terminal resulting from a user terminal applying an incorrect TPC command.
- the user terminal in which the PUCCH of the SCell is set uses the TPC command included in the DCI of the SCell by dividing it into a TPC command area and an ARI area. For example, when the TPC command is 2 bits, the user terminal divides into a 1-bit TPC command region and a 1-bit ARI region, and performs power control and PUCCH resource determination based on the bits in each region.
- the number of PUCCH resources that can be specified by the ARI is two (the existing system has four ARIs (2 bits)). Also, assume that two values (for example, +1 dB and ⁇ 1 dB) are designated by the TPC command (the number of existing TPC commands is four (2 bits)).
- the user terminal determines a PUCCH resource using a 1-bit ARI. Further, when only the SCell DCI is detected, the user terminal uses a 1-bit TPC command and ignores the 1-bit ARI. At this time, as the PUCCH resource, a PUCCH resource determined by a PDCCH / EPDCCH resource including SCell's DCI is used.
- PUCCH transmission of the SCell is selectively controlled with specific downlink control information (EPDCCH).
- EPCCH downlink control information
- the SCell PUCCH transmission can be performed only when DL DCI is transmitted on the SCell EPDCCH, and the ARO area included in the EPDCCH is used as the TPC command area.
- ARO is Rel. 11 is used to specify an offset value to be added to the ECCE number when determining a PUCCH resource used for ACK / NACK feedback of PDSCH demodulated by EPDCCH. Note that 2-bit ARO is specified in EPDCCH.
- the area used as the TPC command is not limited to the ARO area, and other unused bits included in the DCI may be used. It is also possible to use the TPC command as power control and the ARO area as ARI.
- the DL HARQ timing in the TDD cell may be the same as the DL HARQ timing of FDD (see FIG. 23).
- the A / N for the PDSCH signal transmitted in each DL subframe of the TDD cell is fed back in the UL subframe of the FDD cell after a predetermined period (for example, 4 ms) from the subframe in which the PDSCH signal is transmitted. be able to.
- the feedback delay in TDD DL HARQ can be reduced to 4 ms.
- the number of acknowledgment signals fed back in one UL subframe can be reduced and distributed over a plurality of subframes, this is given to DL HARQ when there is a misdetection of the acknowledgment signal by the base station The impact can be reduced.
- the cell which performs PUCCH transmission can be selected using any aspect shown by the said embodiment.
- the cell which performs PUCCH transmission in a subframe that is UL in both the FDD cell and the TDD cell, when PUCCH transmission is limited to one cell (FDD cell or TDD cell) regardless of the setting of the primary cell, The case where it performs by SCell or the case where it performs by the cell which performs A / N transmission by the said sub-frame etc. is mentioned.
