Abstract
C02 Incubator with device for direct controlled ionization of the air enables direct ionization of the air and presence of negative air ions which contribute to improvement of the quality of fertilization and quality and development of the embryos during the first three to five days of their development until they are transferred in the womb. In the incubator the direct ionization is achieved by the device which is composed from the two units: ionizing box and external electronic controller. The ionizing box is composed of generator of negative ions, sensor for negative ions and ventilator which contributes for continuous creation of negative air ions. The electronic controller processes the data from the sensor and directs the negative ion generator. The concentration of the negative air ions is determined with the keyboard or PC which are followed on LCD display.
Description
C02 INCUBATOR WITH DEVICE FOR DIRECT CONTROLLED IONIZATION OF THE AIR
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention C02 Incubator with device for direct controlled ionization of the air, is an incubator which contains device for production of negative air ions and improves the quality of the developing embryos during the first 3-5 days of their development until their transfer into the womb. According to the International classification of the patents, the invention is assigned with the sign C12M1/00 n C12M3/00 in the field of chemistry, metallurgy, equipment for enzymology and microbiology and equipment for work with tissues, human, animal or plant cells or cultures of viruses.
BACKGROUND ART
State of the technology knows incubators and devices for cell culturing which uses different methods for air purification of the air in the IVF laboratories which uses special air purifiers with carbon and HEPA filters which purifies the air from different fumes and mechanical impurities. State of the technology knows incubators which are used for obtaining constant temperature and humidity of the air which are very important during these processes. So far the state of the technology does not know about the use of the devices for direct ionization of the air.
DISCLOUSURE OF THE INVENTION
The quality of the air in the laboratories where techniques of the Assisted reproduction are implemented known as IVF (in vitro fertilization) is of crucial importance. The air should ensure maximally clean environment and quality which will contribute to a high percentage of fertilization and good morphological development of the embryos during the first 3-5 days of their development until their transfer to the womb where they continue to develop in natural conditions.
The invention -C02 Incubator with device for direct controlled ionization of the air , solves the technical problem of direct presence of negative air ions in the environment where the techniques of assisted reproduction are performed (IVF and ICSI), contributing for higher success of fertilization, e.g. obtaining higher number of fertilized embryos increasing the morphological quality of the embryos having the positive influence on the cell divisions leading to better development of the embryos.
DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
Figure 1 shows classical model of the C02 incubator (without any modification).
The invention C02 Incubator with the device for direct controlled ionization of the air, is consisted of Ionizing box which contains generator for negative air
Figure 2 shows the invention C02 Incubator with the device for direct controlled ionization of the air
Using the invention C02 Incubator with the device for direct controlled ionization of the air controlled production of negative air ions directly in the incubator is performed.
The device for controlled ionization is consisted from two separate units, the ionizing box and external electronic controller (Figure 2). The ionizing box is consisted of generator for negative ion production, ion sensor and ventilator which pushes the negative air ions from the ionizing box and to ensure continuous flow of the ionized air threw the ion sensor (Figure 3)
The electronic controller processes the data from the sensor and controls the negative air ion generator. As it is shown at Figure 4, the electronic controller is composed from the enhancer, which enhances the signal from the sensor, microcontroller, LCD visualization system, keyboard, block for communication (RS-232) with personal computer and contactless output block. The enhancer adjusts the signal which is obtained from the sensor for negative air ions allowing the microcontroller to measure and and process the obtained data regarding the concentration of negative air ions per cm3. Using the keyboard or personal computer, the wanted concentration of negative air ions is adjusted , and the obtained values of the given and measured parameters are followed on the LCD display.
The invention C02 Incubator with device for direct controlled ionization of the air, has implementation in medicine, more precisely in the laboratories where techniques of the Assisted reproduction are implemented (IVF and ICSI), increasing the fertilization rate, contributing for obtaining the higher number of quality embryos. However, this invention can find its larger implementation in the other fields of cell culturing, regenerative medicine and other fields of experimental and practical medicine, as well.
