Um einen Kurzschluss zu vermeiden werden Isolierhülsen 5 an den Schrauben 6 und eine Isolierschicht 7 an der Platine 8 angebracht . Die Platine 8 weist elektrische Kontaktflächen 9 auf, welche die Ausnehmungen 11 umgeben und die von dem Schraubenkopf der Schrauben 6 entweder direkt oder unter Zwischenschaltung einer Metallscheibe 10 jeweils kontaktiert werden können. Die Herstellung des elektrischen Kontaktes von der Stromquelle zur Platine 8 erfolgt somit über die stromführenden Kabel 3, die Metallbuchsen 4, die Schrauben 6 und die Metallscheiben 10 zu den Kontaktflächen 9 der Platine 8. Die auf der Platine 8 aufgebrachte LED wird mittels Schrauben 6 am Kühlkörper 1 befestigt. Gleichzeitig stellen die Schrauben 6 auch die elektrische Verbindung zur Stromquelle her.
