Abstract

A safety device for a blind including an elongate cover (11) that, in use, is configured to be able to receive a cord (C) therewithin. In practice the cover is positioned and sized to hide a length of looped cord at a specified height from the ground in order to avoid entanglement and other dangers associated with children or animals. Each end of the elongate cover (11) includes a divider element (35, 42) that crosses and separates the cord loop such that the cord (C) within the cover will not become entangled.
