Le procédé comprend l'obtention d'informations de capacité d'un équipement utilisateur (UE), les informations de capacité de l'UE comportant au moins soit le type de technologie d'accès de l'UE, soit le type de l'UE; la détermination de l'APN par défaut de l'UE conformément aux informations de capacité obtenues de l'UE et au paramètre de configuration de l'APN, le paramètre de configuration de l'APN comportant une relation de correspondance entre les informations de capacité de l'UE et l'APN par défaut. Le procédé peut sélectionner un accès de réseau de données par paquets (PDN) approprié à l'UE.
