Abstract

An adapter that is configured to couple a tap to a cap. The cap is attachable to a spout and includes an opening to provide for fluid communication with flowable material within the bag. The adapter includes an upper body and a probe body. The tap is coupled to the upper body and the probe body is extended through the cap and into fluid communication with the flowable material within the bag.
