Abstract
The disclosure is directed to a discharging spout for squeeze tubes. The spout or tip (fig. 22) comprises two types of sealing means in order to provide a first and a second seal. The first seal is formed by a shoulder of the spout abutting onto an external threaded closure (stop points B in fig. 23) and the second seal is formed by a ring (seal plate A in fig. 22) on the external surface of the spout cooperating with the internal wall of the closure (fig. 23).
Description
DISCHARGING SPOUT HAVING FIRST AND SECOND SEALING MEANS
Technical field:
Packs for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, industrial, cosmetics and chemical sectors. This is a tube that can be filled with: concentrated tomato puree, mayonnaise, ointments, silicon, grease, hair dyes, toothpaste, and many more substances. Disclosure of the invention:
The laminated tube is a new material, enabling us to offer an effective alternative pack for filling with all types of products. This new technology makes it possible to fill the packs with even very corrosive, inflammable and/or acetic acids in absolute safety. As the name suggests, these laminate packs consist of a multilayer structure. As well as assuring the product's total reliability, the same pack can be used to create a wide array of branded products. The laminated tube coming in various content sizes can be filled with any raw material, and the pack can have a measuring spout attached or be provided with a tamper-proof seal. This is the first flexible tube that can be filled with: silicon, acrylic, polyurethane and high temperature sealants, solvent-based adhesives, construction adhesives, contact adhesives, polyurethane adhesives, adhesives for PVC, fillers, MS POLYMER and many other contents. While laminate tube makes ideal packaging for filling with single- component products, it can also be used for two-component products in two separate tubes which are then put together in blister packs or cartons. This is the first tube that, because of the non-drying cap and
attached applicator, makes gluing, sealing or whatever purpose easy with less waste of time and energy.
It is important to note that the measuring spout attached to the shoulder guarantees, together with the cap, total protection to ensure the continuous freshness of the product even once the pack has been opened. Guaranteed impermeable to light, gas, humidity and organic substances, it maintains the content intact. In fact, this is the container offering the longest shelf-life, keeping the product entirely fresh and uncontaminated. The laminated tube does not permit air to come into contact with the material inside, and it also does not present the usual problem of "return" of the material i.e. it stops the material sliding back inside the pack.
The cap has a cross section suited for friction of the seal plate for stopping air flow. This is the first new cap that does note allow the air to cured the product inside the tube. Please see the fig. 23. As per the threaded tip or dosing unit the novelty is that has a seal plate for stopping air.
It is also possible to increase the barrier properties when filling with very special products, incorporating an insert of specific material at the tube dispenser point which therefore creates a double shield. Description of the drawings:
See attachment. In any size, colour or raw material used for moulding the two details: tip and cap. Industrial applications:
This pack can be used in the various sectors mentioned earlier. The safety "seal" gives this tube the special benefit of making it possible to keep any product fresh in the pack even after opening many times. There are moulds for producing details in polyethylene and polypropylene, and also a machine that joins the shoulder with the web / laminate sheet, to obtain the final tube ready for filling.
Claims
I- the tube with shoulder and measuring spout attached, with or without product freshness saver seal
2 - the tube in various diameters, again with shoulder and measuring spout, with or without airtight seal.
3 - the tube with the detail of the totally sealing cap, thus offering total protection of the tube, with possibility of the slot for the closure being the same as that of the measuring spout attached to the shoulder
4 - the use of this tube in the various artwork styles or with the various brands in the different sectors, whether commonly used or not
5 - the coupling of the Euroslot to the tube with shoulder and measuring spout or otherwise the normal and standard closing of the tube
6 - the sale of this tube, with attached detail, in domestic and foreign markets without the necessary authorisation from the company applicant
7 - the airtight seal put on any other type of measuring spout.
8 - tip with seal plate associated to any other type of cap other than that shown in our technical drawings.
9 - Seal plate of different thicknesses, colours and/or shape and material.
10 - Any plunger or cap with cross section suited for friction of the seal plate for stopping air. See FIG. 23
I I - Any plunger or cap with different dimensions or colours of pigmentation
12 - The combination of plunger and cap with air flow areas with stop points not tightened. See FIG. 23
13 - The use of the caps, theated tip and laminated foil as per the pictures in any dimension.
