Abstract

Disclosed is an electromagnetic wave absorber which enables the electromagnetic wave absorption in a high frequency band and has low reflection and high absorption of an electromagnetic wave. The electromagnetic wave absorber comprises a complex of a conductive filler and a polymer matrix. The conductive filler comprises a conductive polyvinyl alcohol fiber. The conductive fiber comprises a conductive microparticle, and has a specific volume resistivity of 1 × 103 to 1 × 10-2 Ωcm. The conductive fiber has a fiber length of 0.1 to 50 mm and a fiber diameter of 30 to 200 μm in the complex.
