Abstract

A television stand (10) and a method of using it according to certain embodiments of the invention include a cabinet (16) having a top (14) for supporting a television set from below and for storing at least one electronic component therein. A moveable panel (12) or opening permits access for cabling or recabling the television set and one or more electronic components without having to move the television set or the stand.
