Abstract

The invention relates to catalysis and organic chemistry, in particular to a method for intensifying catalytic reactions under a SHF(HF) radiation effect. The inventive hydrogen storing method is based on reversible hydrogenating-dehydrogenating catalytic reactions of an organic substrate by heating it in such a way that said substrate is absorbed and a hydrogen is released by using a heterogeneous catalyst containing a hydrocarbon or oxide carrier and an active metal applied thereto. The organic substrate is heated by the SHF or HF radiation effect. The heterogeneous catalyst is embodied in the form of an energy absorbing material comprising the hydrocarbon or oxide carrier which exhibits a high specific surface area and a high dielectric loss tangent value, and the active metal applied thereto. The SHF or HF radiation effect is produced at the atmospheric pressure and temperatures ranging from 20 to 100 °C for the hydrogenating stage and from 100 to 200 °C for the dehydrogenating stage, respectively. Said invention makes it possible to reduce the energy consumption for catalytic processes and to increase the system capacity in hydrogen with relatively low temperatures of the hydrogenating-dehydrogenating processes.
