Abstract

La invención consiste en un procedimiento de identificación del origen del ADN presente en los productos alimenticios a analizar. Mediante este procedimiento se detecta y diferencia si en la composición se halla presente ADN de origen vegetal o animal y si, dentro de este último grupo, existe ADN de mamíferos, aves o peces. Para llevar a cabo el procedimiento, se diseñan 9 oligonucleótidos cebadores específicos. Estos oligonucleótidos han sido diseñados de forma que tras la amplificación mediante PCR múltiple se puede diferenciar la procedencia de los alimentos que integran el producto, mediante el tamaño de los fragmentos amplificados. Esta invención tiene aplicación en el correcto etiquetado de los alimentos procesados cuya composición se precise a nivel general, como puede ser la certificación de piensos compuestos para acuicultura (100% pescado), o para rumiantes (10% vegetal).
