- the two connecting rods 32 of the top piston are permanently connected with each other through the connecting branch 33 and this branch is pivotally attached to the piston through the modified rod 34.
- the modified rod 34 is connected to the piston through the pin 35, which is 90 degree rotated in respect to the bottom pin 36. This is done in order to force the modified rod 34 to move only in vertical direction by embodying it with the top piston.
- Fig 1 is a schematic perspective view of the mechanism presented by this invention.
- Fig 2 shows how this mechanism can be implemented in a two-stroke engine.
- Fig 3 shows how this mechanism can be implemented in a four-stroke engine.
