Die Prägefolie 36 erstreckt sich derartig positioniert durch die Vorrichtung 10 hindurch, daß die Dekorlage der Prägefolie 36 dem Formoberteil 12 zugewandt ist. Beim Einspritzen des Spritzgußmaterials durch den Einspritzkanal 20 in den Formhohlraum 18 der Vorrichtung 10 wird die Prägefolie 36 an die Sichtseite 26 angeschmiegt, die durch das Formunterteil 14 und durch die Randkontur 34 des Schiebers 16 bestimmt ist. Dabei verbindet sich die Prägefolie 36 mit dem Formteil 22. Nach dem Aushärten des Spritzguß materials wird zuerst der Schieber 16 in Richtung des Pfeiles 44 von der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Formposition in eine Freigabeposition zurückgestellt. Anschließend können dann das Formoberteil 12 und das Formunterteil 14 mit dem Schieber 16 voneinander weg bewegt werden, was durch die Pfeile 46 und 48 verdeutlicht ist. Im auseinanderbewegten Zustand kann dann das ausgehärtete Formteil 22 aus der Vorrichtung 10 entnommen werden. Abschließend wird die Trägerfolie der Prägefolie 36 vom ausgehärteten Formteil 22 entfernt, so daß sich ein an seiner Sichtseite 26 vollständig dekoriertes Formteil 22 ergibt.An embossing film 36 is used to decorate the molded part 22, which has a carrier film and a decorative layer in a known manner.
