Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine weiße, siegelfähige, biaxial orientierte, thermoformbare und koextrudierte Polyesterfolie, die mindestens eine Basisschicht B und mindestens eine siegelfähige Deckschicht A umfaßt, wobei mindestens die Basisschicht B einen Polyesterrohstoff und ein Cycloolefincopolymer (COC) enthält. Der Polyesterrohstoff soll eine erhöhte Menge an Diethylenglykol, an Polyethylenglykol oder an Isophthalsäure enthalten. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Polyesterfolie sowie ihre Verwendung für thermogeformte Artikel, insbesondere auf schnelllaufenden Maschinen.
