Abstract
The present invention relates to a vessel that comprises a body with a filling neck and with an external protection member (cover). The protection member is porous and is made of open-cell polyurethane foam or of segments of a perforated aluminium foil which has a three-dimensional structure and in which the dimensions of the voids between its partitions vary from 3 to 7 mm. The protection member is arranged on a metallic grid which is mounted inside the body at a distance representing 2/3 of the height from the filling neck. The total volume of the porous protection member represents from 50 to 65 % of the total volume of the vessel body. The external cover comprises three layers, i.e. a layer of an elastic, polymer and self-stretching material, a layer of a thermal insulation material comprising glass or basalt fibres and a layer of a fire-protection material, wherein the ratio between the respective layers is 1:2.0...2.5: 0.3...0.4.
