Abstract
The tilting and rotating sunshade has a counterweight (2) attached to it in such a way as to produce zero torque in the mobile section. The angles of tilt and rotation of the sunshade can be adjusted with little physical effort. The sunshade can be locked in position to prevent that position from being altered by the wind. The counterweight (2) can be attached to the sunshade with pins, cables, chains (5) and toothed wheels. These connections of the counterweight (2) to the sunshade make it possible to set up the sunshade in particularly advantageous locations, e.g. under a table (3) in whose centre the sunshade column is situated.
Description
Beschreibung description
Drehmomentfrei gelagerter kipp- und drehbarer SonnenschirmTorque-free, tilting and rotating parasol
The invention relates to a torque-free tiltable sun x hirm ge according to the features specified in the preamble of claim 1. Such a So-mei screen is known from the patent US 3486514. By arranging the counterweight directly on the support arm, the position of the counterweight is largely determined by the position of the canopy. In this way, more usable space is used and the entire parasol appears large and bulky. In addition, the counterweight arranged directly on the support arm adversely affects the appearance of the screen.
The object of the invention is to position the counterweight in a more favorable place and to improve the appearance of a screen of the type mentioned at the beginning. This object is achieved in a generic umbrella with the features mentioned in the characterizing part of claim 1. As a result of this design, the installation location of the counterweight can be chosen so that it does not interfere. Advantageous developments of the invention result from the subclaims. A preferred exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to FIG. Thereby: (1) the canopy, (2) the counterweight, (3) a table, (4) gear wheels, which are connected by a chain (5), (6) the support arm and (7) the lever arm . The power transmission means consists of the gears (4) and the chain (5). The gears are rigidly connected to the support arm or with the lever arm and rotatable in the vertical standing mast, the z. B. consists of two logs or two metal tubes, stored. The weight of the counterweight is so great that, together with the lever arm, it produces the same torque, but in the opposite direction, as the umbrella roof together with the support arm. In general, the distance of the center of gravity of the counterweight from the second bearing is smaller than the distance of the center of gravity of the roof from the first bearing and the weight of the counterweight is therefore higher than that of the umbrella roof. In order to keep the volume of the counterweight small, materials of high density are recommended, e.g. B. lead. Tilting and The angle of rotation of the parasol can now be adjusted with little effort. The position of the canopy can be locked so that the position of the generated shadow is not changed by the wind. The counterweight can also be connected to the canopy by rods or ropes. It is essential in any case that the resulting torque results in approximately zero for all tilt and rotation angles.
