Description
"A CONTAINER FOR BOXING LINEN, UNDERWEAR AND CLOTHES"
The present invention concerns a container specifically provided for boxing linen, underwear and clothes.
Until now, linen has always been manufactured and packed in conventional carton boxes or similar, which had the simple function of containers without any contribution to the total visualization and demonstration of the products to be handled.
The present invention corresponds to the newly discovered industrial and commercial request of providing the linen with a container having means that make it particularly suited for the boxing and demonstration of said specific product.
The container according to the present invention mainly consists of two frontal rigid opposite planes, connected by a perimetral cloth band and comprising an eventual zip, such as to allow the distancing of said frontals to the maximum of the internal volume in the loading and transport of the linen, and the reapproaching to contact of said frontals, for the storing to a minimum encumbrance and the transport of the empty containers.
The container according to the present invention is completed by one or two handles, linked to said frontals - rigid or horizontally pivoted or soft - and with appropriate printed paper or cloth covering; obviously, said container may also be used - when opened - as an exhibitor for its own content.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow relating to the enclosed drawings, in which some preferred embodiments are shown.
Figures 1 and 2 show, in an axonometric scheme, a container for boxing linen, underwear and clothes according to the present invention, of the kind with double handles and a perimetral zip for the transformation in exhibitor.
Figures 3 and 4 show, in a closed and opened position, a container according to the present invention, having a rectangular shape, the handles on the shorter side and two consecutive zips on the same line.
Figures 5, 6 and 7 respectively show, in a closed and opened position and on the two sides of the rectangular structure, a container and exhibitor according to the present invention, with a pressure
closing, one single perimetral zip and internal pockets.
Figures 8, 9 and 10 show a variant of the exhibitor according to the present invention, with a single perimetral zip, frontal closings and upper handle, in a closed and opened position as in the precedent variant.
Figures 11 and 12 show two variants of the container according to the present invention, with an envelope closing.
Figures 13 and 14 show an exhibitor according to the present invention in the shape of a parallelepiped container, in an exploded view.
Figure 15 shows an exhibitor according to the present invention with double non-rigid handles and ventral pocke .
Figure 16 shows an exhibitor according to the present invention with a lateral trapezoidal structure.
The figures 17 and 18 show, in an axonometric, external view and in an exploded view, a
parallelepiped exhibitor with an overlapping closing and oscillating handle.
The enclosed figures show a container for boxing linen, underwear and clothes, of the kind provided with means for the complete opening thereof for the demonstration of the content, comprising:
- two frontals 1 and 2 out of plastic material like extruded polypropylene, with internal cavities so as to be light, consistent and resistant, with the covering decorated with cloth, velvet or paper;
- a perimetral cloth band 3, linked along all other edges 4 and 5 to said frontals 1 and 2, so as to get completely folded and therefore approach frontals 1 and 2 for storing and transporting, and so as to determine, when completely opened, a great internal volume between the frontals 1 and 2 when loading the linen B;
- one or more zips 6, provided in the perimetral band 3, for separating the container in two flanked parts for the exhibition of its content;
- two cloth handles 7, 8 or one single rigid handle 9, linked to the upper edges of frontals 1, 2;
- a plurality of rigid planes to be inserted inside the container for stretching out said perimetral band 3 along the lateral uprights and/or onto the bottom so as to realize rigid structures;
- a plurality of internal and/or external pockets provided in correspondence with said frontals 1, 2;
- a plurality of internal sections for separating the products to be shown;
- an overlapping closing means.
Relating to the variant according to the present invention shown in figures 3 and 4, the container has a double zip 6-6' for allowing to be opened for the exhibition of its contents along the long sides 10 of the rectangular structure as well as, according to the needs, along the short sides 11.
In the variant shown in figures 5, 6 and 7 an overlapping closing means 12 is provided, with a passing through opening 13 from which comes out the horizontally pivoted handle 14; furthermore, for the exhibition of the content, flanked pockets 15 are provided with one single zip 6 along the longer side 10 or the smaller side 11 of said frontals 1, 2.
The variant according to figures 8, 9 and 10 is similar to the precedent one, showing a continuous overlapping closing means 16, frontal closings 17 and an upper handle 9.
In the possible variants of the container according to the present invention, described in figures 11, 12, the perimetral band 3 does not show solution of contiuity for the housing of the zip 6, and the frontal 1 is over-dimensioned so as to get folded in 18 for obtaining an envelope-structure 16 with the closing element 19.
Figures 13 and 14 show a container made rigid by the insertion of lateral planes 20 along the lateral portions of the perimetral band 3 and of the horizontal plane 21, on the bottom, with an overlapping closing means 12 provided with an opening 13 for the passing of the handle 14.
Figure 15 shows a variant provided with the external pocket 15 and with the soft handles 7, 8.
The structure of the container according to figure 16 is characterized in the striction performed by the overlapping closing means 12, smaller than the base side, so that the shape of the lateral portion of the perimetral bands 3 is trapezoidal when the container is closed, while it returns rectangular due to the opening of the tops of the said bands in opened position.
The variant shown in figures 17 and 18 is similar to the one shown in figures 13 and 14, with the addition of the lateral pocket 15.
In all variants the presence of frontals 1 and 2 of carton covered with decorations or cloth of velvet or other suitable materials, is provided.
