Abstract

The invention relates to an elastic fixing device for fixing a railway track to its support which includes a fastener (1) which functions as a spring and is designed to press against the track. Said device also includes an insert (2) fixed to the track supportwhich has means for guiding and holding said fastener (1). An insulating stop (3), intended to prevent direct contact between the track (4) and the insert (2) or the fastener (1) is also provided. The device is characterized by the fact that said fastener (1) consists of a loop with a section (10) essentially parallel to the track. Coming after each lateral end of said section is a part which is essentially transversal to the track, said part being internal to the loop which is lengthened by a vertical branch (13G, 13D) opening internally above the loop.
