Abstract

Flexion detecting device including a bimorph polymer piezoelectrical element (1) squeezed between two electrodes (12, 13) for detecting the variations in charges on the faces (10, 11) of the bimorph element. The electrodes can be shorted at regular intervals by a short-circuit device. The device as a whole therefore encompasses several measures enabling it to effect dynamic measurements of different flexions of the dimorph element. Application: detecting movements of the articulations of an animated body; robotics.
