Description

t PROCEDE D'EMBALLAGE SOUS VIDE POUR OBJETS REMBOURRES ET t VACUUM PACKAGING PROCESS FOR UPHOLSTERED AND
PRODUIT OBTENUPRODUCT OBTAINED
The present invention finds its application in the marketing of decorative objects, 5 of gifts or gadgets, the peculiarity of which is that they are stuffed with synthetic or natural fibers whose very low density is essentially due to the presence of air included between the fibers of the material, but not trapped irreversibly. 10 The articles concerned may be in feather, in cotton, but especially in acrylic synthetic fibers such as "Dacron" (registered trademark).
A special feature in the use of this process is that it applies to mailing, when the packaging cards obtained comply with the regulatory dimensions in force, and in particular the maximum authorized thickness.
For a few years now, some blister packaging has been commonly found glued on cards generally made of printed cardboard, the plastic envelope of which is produced by thermoforming, welding or gluing. This technique is perfectly suited to the packaging of presentation of small hard objects intended for sale, these retaining their real volumes.
Certaines d'entre elles présentent des phrases adaptées à toutes sortes de circonstances : mariage, naissance, anniversaire, voeux, etc....25 Furthermore, to this day, postcards remain an element of correspondence,: simple and quick. Some of them present sentences adapted to all kinds of circumstances: marriage, birth, birthday, vows, etc.
30 d'autres comportent des élé¬ ments en reliefs, d'autres encore, ont des dispositifs de faible volume, légèrement gonflé, pour permettre l'émis¬ sion de sons, sous la pression des doigts.30 others have elements in relief, still others have devices low volume, slightly inflated, to allow the emission of sounds, under the pressure of the fingers.
But r all these different cards only allow the sending of a message. Also r to vary and extend the use of postcards, a process has been devised, allowing the sending of objects of reduced size, by this simple means.
These objects filled with a compressible material resuming their forms, and their real volumes, after being unpacked.
The present invention is characterized by the fact that it combines the technique of blister packaging, which consists of wrapping, with a plastic sheet, objects, generally small, with the technique of vacuum packaging of objects. upholstered with a breathable material in order to obtain a reduction in the lume vo¬ of it, an essential feature rési¬ ing in the fact that reducing its thickness to the JUS r momentary obtaining an object of very flat shape, even in the form of a sheet of a few millimeters, must be: r-realized, in order to allow the sending of this product, which is presented as a postcard.
Furthermore, for this product to have all the characteristics of a postcard, it is necessary to create a flat surface. The technique consists in making a flexible plastic pocket, into which a flat support or card on which the said object is positioned is inserted when the object is put in place. When the vacuum is obtained the product therefore has a flattened shape a few millimeters thick, the face having the support being perfectly flat. This can then be used for correspondence after a sheet of paper has been pasted on the outside.
But to make this vacuum, two possibilities are possible:
- la poche en plastique fermée sur trois côtés comporte sur le quatrième côté un canal d'évacuation de l'air, formant soupape, afin d'être placée avec d'autres, dans une enceinte, à l'intérieur de laquelle on fait le vide.- the plastic bag closed on three sides has on the fourth side an air evacuation channel, forming a valve, in order to be placed with others, in an enclosure, inside which the empty.
- la poche en plastique fermée sur tout son'pourtour est munie d'une tuyère, par laquelle l'air sera aspiré, l'opération s'effectuant article par article.- the closed plastic bag over its' periphery is provided with a nozzle, through which air is sucked, the operation being carried out section by section.
After evacuating, in both methods, the point of air passage is sealed by welding.
In the case of a packaging card, of the blister type, intended to be positioned on a vertical display with metal rods, it is necessary to provide an orifice which must be at normal atmospheric pressure. It is therefore necessary to create a seal between the hole and the rest of the packaging, so that air cannot enter it.
To do this, an additional welding line is made between the support or card and the plastic, in order to constitute the zone at normal pressure,
In a variant, the welding is carried out all around the hole, made in the plastic. Another embodiment utili¬ is the extension of the plastic sheets, located above the weld line to form a surface, which can also be stiffened, and in which will be drilled a hole serving as a fastening means. This surface, thus stiffened ensuring better resistance to tearing. For the sake of simplification, provision may also be made to use the sheet of paper used for correspondence, to make it protrude from the weld line, thickening it so that it serves as a surface in which the fastener, in this case the hole will be drilled.
These different attachment means will allow a rational presentation of these post cards or articles, on vertical displays, and will provide storage possibilities, in a minimum space.
This new product therefore offers a new variety of postcards by offering the possibility of sending at the same time as a message, a small object of the cushion, doll, animal, or any other form which will regain their normal volume and appearance. as soon as they are unpacked by their recipients.
Afin d'expliciter l'invention, il est donné, à titre d'exemple, non limitatif, un mode de réali¬ sation se référant au dessin ci-annexé :In order to explain the invention, there is given, by way of nonlimiting example, a mode of realization referring to the attached drawing:
FIGURE 1 : Vue de dessus d'une carte blister représentant si¬ multanément les versions possibles de la dite carte, puisque l'aspect, en est sensiblement le même.FIGURE 1: Top view of a blister card representing simultaneously the possible versions of said card, since the appearance is substantially the same.
The object (2) has been positioned on the cardboard card (1). This is constituted, in the present example, by a heart-shaped pad, padded with acrylic synthetic fibers, airy and very com¬ pressible material, the outside being made of a natural or synthetic textile material whose fibers let air through, thus to ensure, during compression, the release of air outwardly and in opposite direction, when its débal¬ spinning retraction of the air r, through the envelope thus allowing the object to resume its shape and its real volume. This pad, may or may not have inscriptions, which makes q.ue we can keep the idea of message, as in existing postcards, while providing an additional element, by sending a tangible element .
A plastic and transparent envelope (3) completely covers the top and bottom of the said object (2) placed on the card (1), extending over the entire periphery. This envelope consists of two plastic sheets welded together by the edge welds (4) (5) (6) (7).
The combination of the two techniques of vacuum packaging and blister packaging therefore makes it possible to present this pad, in a minimum volume, in a flattened form, which allows it to be sent in the form of a postcard.
Furthermore, this new product, being intended for direct sale, it is necessary to provide a means of presentation. Also, to be able to suspend this blister card, a hole (8) has been provided. However, this must in no case allow air to enter the interior of the envelope.
For this, a concentric weld (9) is made around the hole (8) and another hole (10), always concentric with the previous assembly, made in the cardboard carton (1), or a single hole ( 8) and a double-sided weld (11) made between the plastic of the envelope (3) and the cardboard of the card (1), the weld (5) possibly being able to be eliminated.
Given that the surface comprising the hole (8) must be at normal atmospheric pressure, it can be envisaged, as described above, to constitute this surface, either by the extension of the plastic sheets (3) beyond the edge (5), in the upper part, or during the gluing of the sheet of paper, necessary for the correspondence, by its overflow to constitute the said surface.
