Abstract
Método para controlar vegetación indeseable en un sitio de cultivo de plantas, que comprende las etapas de proporcionar, una planta con al menos un ácido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una hidroxifenilpiruvato dioxigenasa de tipo silvestre o mutada (mut-HPPD) resistente o tolerante a un herbicida derivado de cumarona y/o una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una homogentisato solanesiltransferasa de tipo sil vestre o mutada (mut-HST) resistente o tolerante a un herbicida derivado de cumarona y aplicar a dicho sitio una cantidad efectiva de dicho herbicida. También plantas que comprenden mut-HPPD y métodos de obtención de tales plantas.
