JOHN W. HOWVLE, OF SEARCY, ARKANSAS, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO CHARLES WV. GARNER, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A COOKING-PAN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,784, dated November '7, 1899.
Application filed September 26, 1899. Serial No. '731 775. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN \V. HOWLE, a cilizen of the United States, residing at Searcy,- in the county of \Vhite and State of Arkansas, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Baking-Pan; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a. part thereof.
The figure is a perspective view of my cooking-pan, showing my design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a bottom 1, flange 2, and a cone-shaped wall 3, its upper edge united to the inner edge of the flange and its lower edge united to the outer edge of the bottom 1, thus making the wall cone-shaped. Seated in the bottom 1 is a tube 4, having a cover 5. A vertical wall 6,
which is larger and deeper than the pan, extends all the way around the cone-shaped wall 3, its upper edge being secured to the flange at its junction with the upper edge of the cone-shaped wall. Extending from one side of the pan thus formed is a handle 7, and from the other side of the pan and immediately opposite the handle 7 is a loop 8, in which is secured a ring 9.
