IMPROVED CLEANER FOR LAMP-CHIMNEYS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 36,600, dated October T, 1862.
To @ZZ whom, it may concern:
Beit known that I, CHARLES BoEoKH, of Strasburg, inthe Department of Bas-Rhin, in the Empire of France, and now sojourning in the city of Buffalo, in the State of New York, mechanic, have invented a Lamp-Chimney Cleaner; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof.
The drawings Nos. l and 2 show a brush, the handle, of wood or other material, being cut or bent into such shape as to t on one side of the inner portion of a lamp-chimney, the handle being covered on one side or both sides, as shown in drawings, with Wool, cotton, sponge, or any other material suitable for the purpose, the Covering or rubber being fastened with Wire, thread, cement, tacks, or by pressure onl y, as shown in the drawings Nos. l and 2.
