What is claimed is:
1. In a firearms sight, a sight member comprising a sight surface, a widened flat blade-like body depending from said sight surface, and a flat blade-like shank of less width than said body and depending from said body, the margins of said shank being threaded.
2. In a firearms sight; a sight member comprising a sight surface, a widened flat blade-like body depending from said sight surface, and a flat blade-like shank of less width than said body and depending from said body, the margins of said shank being threaded; a holder for said sight member comprising a dovetail base, a threaded post integral with and projecting upwardly from said base, said post being slotted to receive said sight shank and a portion of said sight body, a sight adjusting member comprising a member having a recess and a concentric threaded aperture adapted to. pass over said post and for engagement with the threads of said shank projecting from said slot, and an assembly nut received in said recess and having thread engagement with said post.

A firearms sight comprising a base adapted for attachment to a firearm, a threaded post rigidly secured to and projecting upwardly from said base, said post having a vertically disposed slot having flat margins intersecting the periphery of said post on opposite sides thereof, a sight member comprising a flat shank adapted to be received in said slot and to project laterally therevfrom, threads on the laterally projecting portions of said shank, a recessed sight adjusting memher having a threaded aperture concentric with said recess adapted for engagement with the threads of said shank, means for retaining said sight adjusting member on said post for rotation only comprising an assembly nut in the recess in said sight adjusting member threaded to said post, and means for limiting the adjustment of said sight comprising a screw threaded into said assembly nut, there being a vertical recess, in said sight member adapted to receive the end portion of said screw. t
