Abstract
A rubber band adapted for a wrist web shooter is provided. The rubber band comprises a rubber band body, and a rivet-like end for attaching to the wrist web shooter. The rivet-like end consists of a shaft with a head on one end. A tail of the rivet-like end, opposite to the head, is extended from the rubber band body. Additionally, the wrist web shooter using the rubber band is also provided.
Description
- The present disclosure pertains to the general field of toy shooting apparatus. In particular, it provides a rubber band and device for shooting the rubber band to create a spider-like web for amusement purposes.
- All kinds of shooting toys have been designed and built over time for the amusement of children and adults alike. Water is normally the medium used as projectile and water guns are the most common type of toy utilized for this purpose. The use of water shooters is known in the prior art.
- In this respect, the wrist web shooter according to the present invention substantially departs from the conventional concepts and designs of the prior art, and in doing so provides an apparatus primarily developed for the purpose of shooting rubber bands.
- Therefore, it can be appreciated that there exists a continuing need for new and improved wrist web shooter which can be used for shooting a web-like rubber band. In this regard, the present invention substantially fulfills this need.
- In view of the foregoing dis. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved rubber band and wrist web shooter. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved rubber band and a wrist web shooter therefor which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.
- To attain this, the rubber band adapted for a wrist web shooter comprises a rubber band body, and a rivet end for attaching to the wrist web shooter. The rivet end consists of a shaft with a head on one end. The shaft of the rivet end, opposite to the head, is extended from the rubber band body.
- In some embodiments, the head comprises a oval surface depart from the shaft, and a flat surface attached to one end of the shaft.
- In some embodiments, the head has a greater diameter than the shaft.
- Furthermore, the wrist web shooter as provided comprises a wrist wearable body, and a rubber band as described. The wrist wearable body comprises a trigger and a lock hole; wherein one end, opposite to the rivet end, of the rubber band is attached to the trigger and is capable of being released by the trigger; the rivet end is positioned in the lock hole and can off the lock hole when the opposite end is released by the trigger.
- In some embodiments, the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body; the lock hole is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body.
- In some embodiments, the trigger is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body; at least three lock holes are located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body.
- In some embodiments, the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body; the lock hole is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body.
- In some embodiments, the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body; three lock holes are located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body.
- In some embodiments, the lock hole is consisting of a locking portion and a free portion; the locking portion is adapted for secure the head of the rivet end; the free portion allows the enter and exit of the rivet end.
- By using the rubber band having a rivet end for attached to the wrist web shooter, the rubber band may be secure firmly to the wrist web shooter. Furthermore, the rubber band as described can lock on the wrist web shooter as described. Normal rubber band cannot lock on the shooter as described. Because the shooter only allows the rubber band having a rivet end with a bigger head to lock in hole, and a normal rubber band cannot lock in the hole. The present rubber band is specifically designed to fitted into the lock hole which located at front or rear end of the outer surface of the wrist web shooter. The existing rubber band available on the market is a mere circle and does not have the bigger head as described, and therefore it cannot be locked in the hole. Namely, the present wrist web shooter is specifically adapted for the rubber band as described, and vice versa.

FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a wrist web shooter with the rubber band thereon according to another embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram of the wrist web shooter without the rubber band according to another embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram of a lock hole according to one embodiment of the present invention. - The heart of this invention lies in the optimal combination of known mechanical principles in order to produce a new toy shooting apparatus. It is well known that shooting toys enjoy wide commercial acceptance. Similarly, items that stimulate children's playful imagination are in great demand, especially when they lead the player to identify with popular cartoon characters or heroes. Accordingly, this invention creates a toy that makes it possible for a player to act like a spider man by shooting web-like rubber bands from the wrist of his or her hand.
- With reference to the drawings,
FIGS. 1 and 2 show a rubber band having a rivet end according to one embodiment of the present invention. Therubber band 1 adapted for awrist web shooter 2 comprises arubber band body 11, and arivet end 12 for attaching to thewrist web shooter 2. Therivet end 12 consists of ashaft 121 with ahead 122 on one end. Theshaft 122 of therivet end 12, opposite to thehead 122, is extended from therubber band body 11. In this embodiment, the rubber band may be shaped like a web. It is conceivable that the rubber band is made of rubber and is resilient. - Still referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , thehead 122 may comprise anoval surface 1221 depart from theshaft 121, and aflat surface 1222 attached to one end of theshaft 121. It is conceivable that thehead 122 has a greater diameter than theshaft 121. - Referring to
FIGS. 3-6 , thewrist web shooter 2 as provided comprises a wristwearable body 21, and arubber band 1 as described. The wristwearable body 21 comprises atrigger 211 and alock hole 212. As shown in the Figures, one end, opposite to therivet end 12 of therubber band 1 is attached to thetrigger 211 and is capable of being released by thetrigger 211. Therivet end 12 is positioned in thelock hole 212 and can off thelock hole 212 when the opposite end is released by thetrigger 211. - In some embodiments, referring to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , thetrigger 211 is located on an outer surface of the wristwearable body 21 and at the front of the wristwearable body 21. Thelock hole 212 is located on the outer surface of the wristwearable body 21 and at the rear of the wristwearable body 21. Additionally, in some embodiments, there may be at least three lock holes being located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body. In such arrangement, in shoot, rubber bands can be shoot out in sequence one by one. - In some embodiments, referring to
FIGS. 5 and 6 , thetrigger 211 is located on an outer surface of the wristwearable body 21 and at the rear of the wristwearable body 21. Thelock hole 212 is located on the outer surface of the wristwearable body 21 and at the front of the wristwearable body 21. Additionally, in some embodiments, there may be at least threelock holes 212 being located on the outer surface of the wristwearable body 21 and at the rear of the wristwearable body 21. In such arrangement, in shoot, rubber bands can be shoot out in sequence one by one. - Further referring to
FIG. 4 orFIG. 6 , and especiallyFIG. 7 , thelock hole 212 is consisted of alocking portion 2121 and afree portion 2122. The lockingportion 2121 is adapted for secure thehead 122 of therivet end 12. Thefree portion 2122 allows the enter and exit of therivet end 12. - When in use, two ends of the rubber band are positioned on the shooter, with one end attached to the trigger, and the other end to the lock hole. The trigger may be manipulated by users, and can be controlled to release one end of the rubber band. With the rubber band being released, the rubber band will shoot out, and the rivet end of the rubber band will not block the rubber band from shooting out.
- Naturally, without altering the principle of the invention, the construction details and the embodiments may be widely varied from what is described and illustrated purely by way of example herein, without thereby departing from the scope of the present invention as disclosed in the appended claims.

4. A wrist web shooter, comprising:
a wrist wearable body adapted for at least partially enclosing a wrist of a user, and a rubber band;
the wrist wearable body comprises a trigger and a lock hole; wherein one end, opposite to the rivet end, of the rubber band is attached to the trigger and is capable of being released by the trigger; the rivet end is positioned in the lock hole and can off the lock hole when the opposite end is released by the trigger;
the rubber band comprises a rubber band body, and a rivet end for attaching to the wrist web shooter; wherein the rivet end consists of a shaft with a head on one end; the shaft of the rivet end, opposite to the head, is extended from the rubber band body;
the head comprises an oval surface depart from the shaft, and a flat surface attached to one end of the shaft the head has a greater diameter than the shaft;
wherein the lock hole is consisting of a locking portion and a free portion; the locking portion is adapted for secure the head of the rivet end; the free portion allows an enter and exit of the rivet end.
5. The wrist web shooter according to claim 4 , wherein the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at a front of the wrist wearable body; the lock hole is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at a rear of the wrist wearable body.

The wrist web shooter according to claim 5 , wherein the trigger is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body; at least three lock holes are located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body.

10. A wrist web shooter, comprising:
a wrist wearable body adapted for at least partially enclosing a wrist of a user,
and a rubber band;
the wrist wearable body comprises a trigger and a lock hole; wherein one end, opposite to the rivet end, of the rubber band is attached to the trigger and is capable of being released by the trigger; the rivet end is positioned in the lock hole and can off the lock hole when the opposite end is released by the trigger;
the rubber band comprises a rubber band body, and a rivet end for attaching to the wrist web shooter; wherein the rivet end consists of a shaft with a head on one end; the shaft of the rivet end, opposite to the head, is extended from the rubber band body;
the head comprises an oval surface depart from the shaft, and a flat surface attached to one end of the shaft; the head has a greater diameter than the shaft;
wherein the lock hole is consisting of a locking portion and a free portion; the locking portion is adapted for secure the head of the rivet end; the free portion allows an enter and exit of the rivet end.
11. The wrist web shooter according to claim 10 , wherein the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at a rear of the wrist wearable body; the lock hole is located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at a front of the wrist wearable body.
12. The wrist web shooter according to claim 11 , wherein the trigger is located on an outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the rear of the wrist wearable body; three lock holes are located on the outer surface of the wrist wearable body and at the front of the wrist wearable body.
