Abstract
The spandex abdominal-lifting corset is a clothing garment designed to give an attractive shape to the body by constricting the waist and lower abdomen while worn. This invention varies from other waist trainers in its ability to lift the buttocks and flatten the upper pubic area and stomach. The corset consists of two nearly independent articles connected by a common attachment to the frontal lacing: the main abdominal article and the waist belt. The main abdominal article is held up by two slim shoulder straps and rests primarily from slightly above the waist to the pubic region. The aptly named waist belt rests on the waist. The frontal lacing may be tightened or loosed to the wearer's liking and is tied at the top.
Description
- By wearing a tightly-laced corset for extended periods, known as tight lacing or waist training, men and women can learn to tolerate extreme waist constriction and eventually reduce their natural waist size. Although petite women are often able to get down to a smaller waist in absolute numbers, women with more fat are typically able to reduce their waists by a larger percentage. Although many different sizes were used, the smallest sizes that were popularly used were 16, 17 and 18 inches. There have been no products available as original equipment or as an aftermarket to address this problem.
- A foundation garment (also known as shape wear or shaping underwear) is an undergarment designed to impermanently alter the wearer's body shape, to achieve what some view as a more fashionable figure. The function of a foundation garment is not to enhance a bodily feature (as would, for example, a padded bra) but to make it look more presentable. Specific styles of foundation garments have been essential to some fashion movements, and were required in some social situations during various fashion periods.
- There have been no products available as original equipment or as an aftermarket to address this problem either.
- There exists a need for a spandex abdominal-lifting corset that is not being met by any known or disclosed device or system of present.
- The spandex abdominal-lifting corset is a clothing garment designed to give an attractive shape to the body by constricting the waist and lower abdomen while worn.
