Abstract

A facial puff includes a silicon rubber puff body, an external wrapping layer having waterproof, thin and flexible characteristics and wrapped about the silicon rubber puff body using vacuum packaging technology, and a printing design or ornamental sheet carrying a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns and disposed between the silicon rubber puff body and the external wrapping layer.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to personal ornament making techniques and more particularly, to a facial puff, which provides text description, markings, drawings and/of patterns to increase the added value, can contact the skin more obedient and supple to create a sense of comfort during application, prevents penetration of the applied makeup material to save the consumption of make-up materials, and is not easy to stick dirt and can be easily cleaned or wiped.

2. Description of the Related Art

As the saying goes, it is a women's natural instincts to like to be beautiful. In addition to enhancing a woman's beauty, make-up in some specific occasions is also a ritual. Various different cosmetic products are commercially available for different applications and purposes with the use of different tools. When applying a liquid foundation, moisturizer or blush cream on the skin of the face, a sponge-based puff is normally used as an applicator. A facial sponge puff is elastic and soft, and its use does not hurt the skin. However, a facial sponge puff has open spaces thereof and is water absorptive. When using a facial sponge puff to apply a foundation, cream or any other make-up material, the applied make-up material can penetrate into the open spaces of the facial sponge puff, increasing the consumption of the make-up material. Further, because cleaning of a conventional facial sponge puff is not easy, a conventional facial sponge puff is easy to breed bacteria and dirt, shortening the service life.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is one object of the present invention to provide a facial puff, which provides text description, markings, drawings and/of patterns, increasing the added value.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a facial puff, which can contact the skin more obedient and supple when it is used to apply foundation or make-up powder on the face, creating a sense of comfort.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a facial puff, which prevents penetration of the applied makeup material, saving the consumption of make-up materials.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a facial puff, which is not easy to stick dirt, and can be easily cleaned or wiped, and can also be maintained clean.
To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, a facial puff comprises a silicon rubber puff body, an external wrapping layer having waterproof, thin and flexible characteristics and wrapped about said silicon rubber puff body using vacuum packaging technology, and a printing design carrying a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns and directly printed on an inner surface of the external wrapping layer.
Other advantages and features of the present invention will be fully understood by reference to the following specification in junction with the accompanying drawings, in which like reference signs denote like components of structure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a facial puff 1 in accordance with the present invention is shown. The facial puff 1 comprises a silicon rubber puff body 11, an external wrapping layer 12 and a printing design 13. The external wrapping layer 12 is wrapped about the silicon rubber puff body 11 using vacuum packaging technology. Further, the external wrapping layer 12 has waterproof, thin and flexible characteristics. The printing design 13 can be a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns directly printed on an inner surface of the external wrapping layer 12. Thus, the facial puff 1 provides text description, markings, drawings and/of patterns, increasing the added value. Further, with the elastic property of the silicon rubber puff body 11 and the waterproof, non-absorptive and flexible features of the external wrapping layer 12, the facial puff 1 can contact the skin more obedient and supple when it is used to apply foundation or make-up powder on the face, creating a sense of comfort. Further, the applied makeup material does not penetrate into the external wrapping layer 12. Thus, the application of the facial puff 1 can reduce the consumption of make-up materials. Further, the facial puff 1 is not easy to stick dirt, and can be easily cleaned or wiped, and can also be maintained clean. Further, printing designs 13,13′ can be selectively printed on the inner surface of the external wrapping layer 12 (see also FIG. 4).
In an alternate form of the present invention shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, instead of printing design 13 on the inner surface of the external wrapping layer 12 as described above, an ornamental sheet 14 is placed between the external wrapping layer 12 and the silicon rubber puff body 11 prior to the implementation of the vacuum packaging process to wrap the external wrapping layer 12 about the silicon rubber puff body 11. The ornamental sheet 14 carries a design of a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns.
In another alternate form of the present invention, the ornamental sheet 14 is directly embedded in the silicon rubber puff body 11, achieving the same decorative effects (see FIG. 7).
Further, the aforesaid external wrapping layer 12 comprises upper and lower wrapping films 121,122. In the implementation of the vacuum packaging process, the silicon rubber puff body 11 is placed between the upper and lower wrapping films 121,122, and then the vacuum packaging machine is operated to seal the upper and lower wrapping films 121,122 together, forming the desired facial puff 1. Further, the silicon rubber puff body 11 can be made in any of a variety of shapes, such as heart shape, circular shape, rectangular shape, polygonal shape, and etc. In FIG. 8, a water drop-shaped facial puff 2 made according to the present invention. In FIG. 9, an oval-shaped facial puff 3 is shown. Further, the printing designs 13,13′ can be printed on an inner surface of one or both of the upper and lower wrapping films 121,122.
Further, the silicon rubber puff body 11 has a first surface 111, and an opposing second surface 112. The external wrapping layer 12 is tightly wrapped about the silicon rubber puff body 11. Further, the external wrapping layer 12 can be made from polyester or thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer. Further, the external wrapping layer 12 comprises upper and lower wrapping films 121,122. The upper wrapping film 121 and the lower wrapping film 122 are respectively sealed to the first surface 111 of the silicon rubber puff body 11 and the second surface 112 of the silicon rubber puff body 11.
Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

What the invention claimed is:

1. A facial puff, comprising:

a silicon rubber puff body;

an external wrapping layer having waterproof, thin and flexible characteristics and wrapped about said silicon rubber puff body using vacuum packaging technology; and

a printing design carrying a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns and directly printed on an inner surface of said external wrapping layer.

2. The facial puff as claimed in claim 1, wherein said external wrapping layer comprises an upper wrapping film and a lower wrapping film respectively covered on said silicon rubber puff body at opposing top and bottom sides and sealed using vacuum packaging technology.

3. A facial puff, comprising:

a silicon rubber puff body;

an ornamental sheet packed inside said external wrapping layer, said ornamental sheet carrying a design of a text, markings, drawings and/or patterns.

4. The facial puff as claimed in claim 3, wherein said external wrapping layer comprises an upper wrapping film and a lower wrapping film respectively covered on said silicon rubber puff body at opposing top and bottom sides and sealed using vacuum packaging technology.

5. The facial puff as claimed in claim 3, wherein said ornamental sheet is mounted in said silicon rubber puff body.

6. The facial puff as claimed in claim 3, wherein said ornamental sheet is positioned between said external wrapping layer and said silicon rubber puff body.

7. The facial puff as claimed in claim 3, wherein said ornamental sheet is directly embedded in said silicon rubber puff body.

8. A facial puff, comprising:

a silicon rubber puff body having a first surface and an opposing second surface; and

an external wrapping layer tightly wrapped about said silicon rubber puff body, said external wrapping layer being selectively made from polyester or thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer.

9. The facial puff as claimed in claim 8, wherein said external wrapping layer comprises an upper wrapping film and a lower wrapping film respectively sealed to said first surface and said second surface of said silicon rubber puff body.

10. The facial puff as claimed in claim 8, wherein said external wrapping layer is made from thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer.
