In pumps of this type it is necessary to pro vide some clearancebetween theprojecting portions of the transverse guide 5g and the inner cavities 2m, 21;, of'therotor, asfin the present construction liquid may leak into such cavities or clearance spaces, and in order tobalance the pressure between the cavities 2m and 2% they are connected by pasformed in the transverse guide 5g.
The device may be duplicated on the same shaft, the pistons of one section being'arranged at right angles to those of the next section.- .EWhen'such duplication is effected communication between the sections may be prevented by means of discs arranged-between the gulde members of each unit;
0 ,These discs may be so arranged that their outer'peripherles bear on the inner surfaces of the'carrier ring while they have a hole arranged eccentrically in them to fit over the eccentric pin. In such modifications the inlet-s and outlets may be coupled in any desired manner such as'for instance to give a parallel effect ora series or compound effect.
The invention is. also applicable to; each pair of oppositely disposed cylinders of pumps having morethan one pair of integral plungers rotating inthe same plane. I l
