Description

Jan. 1, 1935. M. BRODSKY BOX Filed Jan. 21, 1933 INVNTOR PW ATTORNEYS Patented Jan. 1, 1935 I I v UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE Michael M. Brodsky, Brooklyn. N. Y., assignor, by mesne assignments, to Johnson & Johnson, a
corporation of New Jersey Application January 21, 1933, Serial No. 652,738 4 Claims. (Cl. 229-17) This invention relates to an improvement in ing flap 14, top flaps 15 to 18 and bottom flaps boxes or cartons, and particularly to a type of 19 to 22. When the blank is folded on the dotbox adapted for containing a number of small and-dash lines shown in Fig. 1, it assumes the packages -or envelopes arranged for successive shape shown in Figs. 2 and 3. To maintain it removal from the box. in that shape, the securing flap 14 is adhesively 5 One of the objects of the invention is to proattached to the side wall 12 and the bottom flaps vide a box of this character, inexpensively con- 19, 20, 21 and 22 are also adhesively secured structed, so that it may be furnished to a custogether in the conventional. way in overlapping tomer as a protective carton or container-for relationshiptoclose the bottom of the box.
