What is claimed is: g 1. A line guide including a tongue portion arranged to lie across a copy sheet and having a resilient wire loop pivoted thereto, whose edges overreach the edges of said tongue portion and arranged to frictionally engage the opposite side of said copy sheet. I

2. A readers line guide including a straight tongue portion arranged to underlie a lineon a] copy sheet and a wire loop pivoted thereto arranged for frictional contact with the opposite side of said copy sheet.

3. A readers line guide including a member arsect the axis thereof for frictionally interposing said sheet of material to prevent displacement of said member;

As a new article of manufacture, a readers line guide and advertising novelty including a straight edged member arranged to overlie a sheet of copy material and a looped resilient holding means movably secured to said straight edged memberand intersecting the axis of the latter opposite its point of securement to frictionally interpose said'sheet of material between said member and said resilient means.
